Raynok S – 400 Motion Controller is the heart of the
Raynok Motion Control System. Each of the four axis
ports are maintained under full DSP Servo Loop control
and possess the ability to manage axis controllers
from a wide variety of manufacturers.
In addition to the 4-closed loop axis control ports, the basic S – 400
comes complete with seven dedicated programmable inputs per axis
and 16 additional inputs and outputs (expandable to 32) for
advanced programmable interlocks or triggers. Status information
regarding the four axes and I/O is presented on the integrated
display and is also sent to all operator interfaces on the network.
S – 400 comes packaged in two popular styles, Rack Mount and
Panel Mount. The rack mount option is perfect for retrofit
installations and can be mounted in any standard 19" computer rack.
The panel mount version can easily be integrated into control
cabinets with the motor drives in order to cut down on field wiring.
In addition, S – 400 utilizes fast Ethernet communications and
powerful dedicated processors. Communications with the Master
Control Station is maintained at 20 times per second (minimum)
updating the Operator’s screen in real time.
While the S – 400 has been designed to be extremely flexible,
it also has the ability to be customized to perform specific,
repetitive tasks. Dedicated slaving, dual encoders and onboard
cue storage are just some of the features and functions that
can be added to this controller on request. Niscon Inc. also
